Eric G. Lasker speaks at Diabetes Technology Society Meeting in suburban Maryland.

On November 5, 2014, Firm partner Eric Lasker addressed the Surveillance Program Payer's Meeting.  The meeting was part of the Diabetes Technology Society's Surveillance Program for Cleared Blood Glucose Monitors.  Mr. Lasker spoke during Session 5, "Liability for Prescribing Non-Compliant Blood Glucose Monitors."

The Diabetes Technology Society (DTS) is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting development and use of technology in the fight against diabetes.  The DTS mission is to spearhead collaborative efforts by experts in academia, clinical practice, industry, and government to accelerate development of practical technology for treating, monitoring, diagnosing, and preventing diabetes mellitus and its complications.  DTS works closely with many government agencies, universities, and national research and medical organizations.  DTS also maintains regular communication with developers and manufacturers of pharmaceutical drugs, devices, and software for diabetes care.
