Firm partners Joe Hollingsworth and Eric Lasker spoke at the Mason Judicial Education Program's Sixth Annual Judicial Symposium on Civil Justice on November 14, 2011. The Mason Judicial Education Program ("JEP") is the nation's preeminent provider of high-quality and balanced judicial education programs and has provided training to over 4,000 sitting state and federal judges across the country.
Mr. Hollingsworth kicked off the program with a presentation on Emerging Civil Justice Issues. He provided the defense perspective on the most important emerging civil justice issues of the day. Participating on the panel with him and representing the plaintiff's perspective was an attorney from the Center for Constitutional Litigation.
Mr. Lasker took part in an afternoon panel discussion on The Future of Climate Change Litigation in the wake of AEP v. Connecticut. More than 125 state and federal judges were in attendance.
