Hollingsworth LLP salutes its employees for giving generously to two long-standing Washington DC Holiday donation programs.

Since 1981, The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program has worked with individuals and organizations alike to provide a brighter holiday season for thousands of the National Capital area’s most underprivileged children. Sponsoring organizations within our community include law firms, corporations, non-profits, and federal agencies. The program gives individual employees the opportunity to become personally involved in purchasing new clothing and toys for children who might otherwise receive no presents during the Holidays. Now in our twenty-second year of participation, this year set a new Firm record when more than 50% of employees each gave toys and clothing to one or more children. Also, for more than twenty years, the Firm has participated in the annual Gifts for the Homeless (GFTH) program, which collects and distributes to DC Metropolitan area shelters used clothing for homeless men, women, and children. “GFTH is a non-profit corporation comprised of lawyers and staff from area law firms and other legal organizations that volunteer in their spare time and that has been serving the homeless of Washington, DC since 1986.” This year, Hollingsworth LLP collected and donated nearly 100 bags of used clothing for the program.
