Anne T. Marchitello practices in the Firm’s Complex Litigation, Pharmaceutical Products, and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups, where she defends manufacturers in a wide range of complex products liability matters before state and federal courts across the country. She has contributed extensively to motions practice in these actions, having drafted successful dispositive motions as well as motions on evidentiary and procedural issues. She has experience preparing expert witnesses and developing scientific defenses in highly specialized fields, including defending expert witness depositions. Ms. Marchitello has taken fact depositions of plaintiffs and treating physicians, crafted and coordinated discovery requests and responses, assisted in the preparation and defense of depositions of corporate representatives, and participated in corporate document collection and review. She also has experience in detailed trial preparation work at the Firm, including evaluating key fact records, composing direct and cross-examination outlines, and providing other key trial support.
Ms. Marchitello received her law degree in 2015 from Georgetown University Law Center where she was the Notes Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and represented clients in D.C. Superior Court as a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic. She graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University in 2010. Ms. Marchitello was a member of the Firm's 2014 Summer Associate class. She currently serves on the Firm’s Recruitment Committee.
