Tiffany Heavlin Riffer practices in the Firm’s Complex Litigation, Pharmaceutical Products, and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups. Her experience ranges from responding to written discovery demands, engaging in document collection, review, and production, taking expert deposition testimony, deposition preparation, drafting affirmative and defensive motions, legal research, witness interviews, and enforcing third party subpoenas.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Riffer's law practice focused primarily on enforcing large whistleblower/False Claims Act litigation. She also worked for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel as a lawyer in the Disclosure Unit, where she was responsible for evaluating government whistleblower disclosures.
During law school, Ms. Riffer was a judicial intern to the Honorable Harold L. Cushenberry Jr. of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. She gained experience in both state and federal prosecution, and as a student lawyer defending indigent clients charged with misdemeanors before the D.C. Superior Court.
Ms. Riffer is a member of the Women’s Bar Association for the District of Columbia, and in her spare time volunteers for the Humane Rescue Alliance.
