Erica T. Klenicki practices in the Firm’s Complex Litigation, Pharmaceutical Products, and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups, where she defends manufacturers in a wide range of products liability matters before state and federal courts across the country. She has contributed extensively to motions practice in these actions, having drafted successful dispositive motions as well as motions on evidentiary and procedural issues. Ms. Klenicki also has experience preparing expert witnesses and developing scientific defenses in highly specialized fields for large scale litigation matters. Her trial preparation work at the Firm has focused on composing cross-examination outlines, crafting and coordinating discovery requests and responses, evaluating key fact records, and providing other trial support.
Ms. Klenicki is a member of the Firm’s Recruitment Committee and she is involved in the Firm’s pro bono activities. She recently served as guardian ad litem representing the best interests of a child at the center of a complex custody dispute through a year-long investigation and discovery effort. Her role as GAL culminated in a successful trial at the DC Superior Court and enabled the child to remain in a safe and loving home.
In law school, Ms. Klenicki was the Articles & Notes Editor for The American Criminal Law Review and served as an intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. She was a member of the Firm’s 2012 Summer Associate class.
