Jessica Tabibian enjoys the rigors and fast-paced nature of litigation involving complex commercial disputes and pharmaceutical products liability cases. She specifically thrives on collaborating with her teams to formulate case strategies that best advocate for her clients.

Jessica is experienced in all phases of the litigation process, from preparing written discovery, managing document collection and production, and analyzing corporate documents to develop case strategy, to authoring various pleadings and motions, including dispositive motions. She also has experience in preparing witnesses for both deposition and trial testimony through interviews and mock cross examinations.

In November 2020, Jessica joined the firm’s trial team that represented one of the world’s largest petrochemical companies in state-court in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, stemming from a plant explosion and subsequent two-year plant shutdown. Her team successfully prosecuted commercial contract claims against a large company that formerly co-owned and operated the plant under both breach of contract and contractual indemnification causes of action with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake. Since then, Jessica has taken on a series of new cases in both state and federal court, from personal injury cases to high-dollar and high-stakes litigation involving construction contract disputes, where she has been involved from start to finish.

Jessica’s passion for advocacy earned her the DC Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll’s distinction of High Honors in 2021 for successfully representing a pro bono client in a landlord-tenant dispute and winning both equitable relief and monetary compensation.

Jessica received her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of The George Washington International Law Review, served as a Writing Fellow, and earned a position on the Alternative Dispute Resolutions Honors Board. During law school, she worked at the District of Columbia’s Office of the Attorney General, Civil Litigation Division, where she gained experience drafting dispositive motions, analyzing discovery documents, and preparing for depositions and hearings. Thereafter, she became a member of the firm’s 2019 summer associate class.

Jessica graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in Global and International Studies. A transplant from Southern California, Jessica enjoys exploring the many wonders of Washington, DC and neighboring states.
