Atlantic Coast Conference Hockey League Attends Capital Hockey Classic

On December 12th, the Atlantic Coast Conference Hockey League (ACCHL) attended the inaugural Capital Hockey Classic, an exciting college hockey double header at Capital One Arena (home of the Washington Capitals). The first game of the event featured a contest between Army’s and Navy’s club hockey teams, followed by a matchup between Army’s and Penn State’s Division I programs. Among the guests in the ACCHL’s box were Navy and Marine brass.
The ACCHL is a non-NCAA collegiate ice hockey league in the midatlantic and southeast. The mission is to provide student athletes an option to compete in organized intercollegiate ice hockey without the high expenses of NCAA level hockey.
Firm founder Joe Hollingsworth serves on the ACCHL board. Hollingsworth LLP has been a Washington Capitals season ticket holder since 1992 and Joe was instrumental in securing a Washington Capitals-donated box for the ACCHL and its guests to attend the Hockey Classic.
