Anna Kutbay practices in the areas of pharmaceutical, products liability, and toxic tort defense and complex construction and engineering matters. She handles all aspects of pre-trial and trial preparation, including discovery, motions practice, fact witness depositions, and expert witness preparation.
Prior to joining the firm, Anna served as a student attorney in the Health Justice Alliance Law Clinic, where she represented clients in matters related to housing conditions and public benefits, drafted and filed motions for remediation, and conducted client interviews. She also worked as a legal extern at Legal Aid DC, where she drafted motions and reasonable accommodation requests. As a legal extern at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Anna wrote memoranda analyzing legal precedent and comparing state and federal litigation strategies.
Anna earned her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown Law, where she was an executive editor of The Georgetown Law Journal and a member of the Trial Advocacy team. She was a CALI Award recipient and received the Dean’s Certificate for Outstanding Service. She was a member of the firm’s 2024 Summer Associate class.
Anna graduated from The University of Alabama with a M.A. in economics and a B.A., summa cum laude, in political science and economics.
