SAIC EE&I Secures Dismissal in Alleged Groundwater Contamination Suit at Former Halliburton Site
April 8, 2015
Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma dismissed SAIC Energy, Environment & Infrastructure LLC’s (“SAIC EE&I”) from cases brought by neighboring property owners alleging groundwater contamination at a former industrial site in Oklahoma owned by Halliburton and used to reclaim missile casings. Alexander v. Halliburton, No. CIV-11-1343-M (W.D. Okla. 2015); Wilmes v. Halliburton, No. CIV-11-1323-M (W.D. Okla. 2015), Doc. Nos. 95, 183.
Plaintiffs initially sued SAIC EE&I, an environmental contractor hired by Halliburton to conduct groundwater monitoring at the site, but following discovery, agreed to dismissal.
