Firm partner Robert Johnston recently spoke at the DRI seminar Stronger Together: A United Approach for Preventing Legal System Abuse.

He served on the panel “The Evolving Legal Landscape: What’s Coming Next?”  The civil litigation environment continues to shift as new regulations, judicial trends, and emerging mass tort categories reshape risk and exposure. This forward-looking session examined key legislative and regulatory developments, highlights where courts are heading, and explores how technology—from data analytics to AI—is influencing litigation strategy. Attendees were provided with practical insights to anticipate change, adapt defense approaches, and prepare for what’s next.

Robert represents the firm as a member of the Advisory Council for the DRI Center for Law and Public Policy. He serves on the Center’s Legislation and Rules Committee and the Center’s Third-Party Litigation Funding Task Force.
