Five Outstanding Law Students Join Hollingsworth LLP’s 2025 Summer Associate Class

Hollingsworth LLP is delighted to welcome five law students to its 2025 Summer Associate Class. The firm’s summer associates participate in highly challenging and complex legal work while receiving hands-on career development and mentorship. A trial-focused firm comprised entirely of litigators, Hollingsworth LLP specializes in complex litigation matters that focus the courts on science, particularly the lack of scientifically reliable causation evidence.


Bianca Abbate is a rising 3L at The George Washington University Law School where she is a member of The George Washington International Law Review and a Member of the Mock Trial Board. Bianca was a member of the first-place team of the inaugural Hollingsworth LLP First-Year Mock Trial Competition. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from LaSalle University where she was on the Executive Board of LaSalle Mock Trial. This past year, Bianca was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Ana C. Reyes, United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

 


Samantha Christian is a rising 3L at The George Washington University Law School where she is the Notes Editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, Vice President of the Mock Trial Board, and a member of the Latin American Law Student Association. Samantha was a member of the first-place team of the inaugural Hollingsworth LLP First-Year Mock Trial Competition. She received her undergraduate degree, with Highest Distinction, from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Samantha has served as a Judicial Intern at the Montgomery County Circuit Court and the United States Court of Federal Claims.

 


Autumn Jones is a rising 2L at Harvard Law School where she is a Student Attorney for Harvard Defenders. Autumn is a Committee Member of the Black Law Students Association and the Women’s Law Association. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology and creative writing from Stanford University. Autumn has previously been an Intern at the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Section, and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

 


Patrick Riss is a rising 3L at Georgetown Law where he is on the Executive Board of the Barristers’ Council Trial Advocacy Division. Patrick was a Greenhalgh Tournament Champion and received the Best Advocate Award. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Villanova University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and where he was President of Mock Trial. Patrick was recently a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Moxila A. Upadhyaya of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

 


Camryn Simmons is a rising 3L at Georgetown Law where she is Executive Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law and will be participating next spring in Georgetown Law’s asylum clinic, the Center for Applied Legal Studies. She was a Legal Practice Fellow and the 1L representative to the Georgetown Student Bar Association. Camryn received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Augustana University where she was a member of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honors Society.
