The New York Times quoted Hollingsworth LLP partner Gary Feldon in an article regarding the recent Chevron decision, “Utah geared up for a fight in anticipation of the court’s ruling.”  The article addresses how states like Utah are directing agriculture and environmental agencies to identify federal rules carried out in the state that might be vulnerable under a ruling that limits the Chevron precedent.

Mr. Feldon pointed out that Utah is not entirely alone in its war room crouch.  “I don’t know that anybody is doing it quite as systemically as the state of Utah seems to be, but industry and businesses are certainly aware that we are on the edge of a major shift,” Feldon said. “And the savvy among them are making sure that they’re in position to take advantage of it now.”
