With over 30 years’ experience, Randy Branitsky holds critical roles in delivering clients comprehensive discovery solutions. His broad experience includes managing teams of contract attorneys that provide litigation support to firm attorneys and matters. Randy collaborates with and supervises vendors on all aspects of discovery. His talent for teaching and instructing serves him well as he has helped manage at any given time up to 200 attorneys whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the identification, review, and production of electronic documents for the firm’s major products liability, mass tort, pharmaceutical, and other complex litigation.

In more mature litigation, Randy’s experience is often focused instead upon challenging factual and legal issues involved in written discovery, depositions, and trials. For example, Randy has developed expertise in the identification and defense of complex confidentiality and trade secret issues. In that role, he has also worked collaboratively with company scientists and other personnel as needed. His trial experience aids him in assessing documents on authenticity and business records issues. Randy has managed public records requests and related document assessment in support of litigation from federal and state agencies/entities. His broad experience also aids him in preparing key document memoranda assessing document productions, company interviews, and other sources.

Randy honed his experience as a seasoned civil litigator representing clients before various state and federal trial and appellate courts and state and federal regulatory agencies. With clients including Fortune 500 companies and multinational conglomerates engaged in complex civil litigation, he was responsible for the development of plaintiff-side and defendant-side litigation and settlement strategies, and all aspects of discovery, motions practice, trial preparation, jury selection, and appellate practice. Measured in his approach, Randy also represented individuals, small businesses, and non-profits before courts and other tribunals, in matters ranging from estate administration and immigration to land use.

Randy received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. from Cornell University. When not practicing law, Randy never turns down a good weekend road trip that allows him to disconnect, explore new country, and experience interesting adventures.
