Sam Quinan practices complex litigation defense in pharmaceutical, products liability, and toxic tort matters. His responsibilities include drafting motions and deposition outlines, conducting legal research, and analyzing discovery documents.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Elizabeth K. Dillon, United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Among his responsibilities, Sam helped draft judicial opinions and prepared bench memoranda. Prior to law school, he served as digital press secretary to U.S. Senator Richard Durbin, managing social media accounts and coordinating messaging efforts with the Senate Judiciary Committee. He also served as digital organizing director for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine’s 2018 re-election campaign.
Sam earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He was a member of the firm’s 2024 Summer Associate class.
Sam graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in history.
